Joe DiAngelo Personal Trainer New York
Personal Trainer New York8 September 2003 Maintain healthy joints - Advice from New York Personal Trainer
Working here in New York as a personal trainer, I get many questions from people about joint soreness.
First of all, joint pain comes from bad form. I always advise people that if you do not know how to perform exercise 100% correctly, do not do it.
Here is what you can do to prevent joint pain: - Learn how to execute exercise correctly. Consult your personal trainer about proper form. - Supplement with glucosamine: - Glucosamine rebuilds cartilage and collagen - key components that keep joints functioning and tissues strong - It hydrates by helping cartilage tissue absorb water, the primary cushioning agent in your joints - Glucosamine is the lubricant of all joint cartilage tissue as well - Glucosamine helps preserve joint space to help joint function and flexibility - Supplement with Chondroitin sulfate. Chondroitin sulfate is part of a large protein molecule (proteoglycan) that gives cartilage elasticity. - Supplement with Flex Seed Oil. Omega 3 fatty acids combat painful inflamed joints If you decide to take these supplements, consult your doctor about the proper dosage. |
